MY CONSTITUENCY
Lincoln is a historic city with a vibrant, diverse community and proud traditions. I’m honoured to represent the people of Lincoln in Parliament and to work every day to make sure your voice is heard in Westminster.
From protecting our treasured public services to standing up for Lincoln’s future on the national stage, I’m committed to being an active and approachable MP. Whether it’s supporting community organisations, fighting for fair funding, or helping with individual casework, I will always put the people of Lincoln first.

My work in Lincoln is focused on the issues that matter most to local people. I’ve been listening to residents, community groups and public service workers to understand where action is most needed. Current priorities include:
- Securing extra funding for Lincolnshire Police to keep our streets safe and support local officers dealing with increased demand.
- Blocking the use of RAF Scampton as an asylum seeker camp, ensuring asylum policy is managed with humanity, proper planning, and respect for local communities and history.
- Tackling homelessness and rough sleeping by working with local shelters and advocating for proper housing and support services.
- Challenging the spread and abuse of ketamine and other harmful substances through better enforcement, education, and mental health support.
These priorities reflect real concerns raised by Lincoln residents and will guide my work both locally and in Westminster.
I’m proud to be active in our city and regularly meet with residents, local leaders, and organisations. Some recent activity includes:
- Hosting a public meeting on benefit cuts, where residents shared their stories and concerns about the proposed benefit reforms.
- Visits to local schools and community centres to discuss youth services, education funding, and social mobility.
- Supporting local businesses by campaigning for better high street investment and promotion of local businesses.
- Monthly Surgeries where I meet with locals to discuss issues important to them and come up with a plan together.

Lincoln is full of incredible people and organisations making a difference. I’m proud to work with and support those who are building a better city from the ground up.
- Disabled Dog Walk – I attended a special event celebrating dogs with disabilities, Pumpkin and Friends charity has gone international but is ran by two amazing locals.
- Lincoln City Foundation – I ran the Lincoln 10K alongside many Lincoln locals raising money for the Lincoln City Foundation to raise funds for youth and community sport initiatives.
- Local charities and grassroots organisations – I regularly meet with frontline workers and volunteers offering support to those facing hardship.
These champions remind us what community spirit looks like – and I’ll continue to lift up and listen to them in my work as MP.
